5-Axis Technology
5-axis milling – complex components in a single setup
With a 5-axis CNC milling machine we machine workpieces from five sides without re-clamping. This gives you three decisive advantages: higher accuracy by eliminating re-clamping errors, shorter lead times and more cost-effective production even for demanding geometries. Ribbed structural components, housings with angled hole patterns or free-form surfaces – 5-axis machining makes possible what would require multiple setups with 3 axes.

Also available as 5-axis contract manufacturing: if your own production has no 5-axis capacity or is running at full load, we take over – from one-off parts to full series.

What are the advantages of 5-axis milling over 3-axis milling?
In 5-axis milling, the workpiece is machined from five sides in a single setup. That means: no re-clamping errors, higher accuracy, shorter lead times — and geometries that would require multiple setups with 3 axes.
Which materials can you mill?
Aluminium, stainless steel (e.g. 1.4301 and 1.4404), steel and heat-treatable steel, as well as brass, copper and plastics on request. For special materials, we are happy to discuss the details with you personally.
Do you also produce one-off parts and prototypes?
Yes. From single prototypes and small batches to ongoing large-scale series — with short lead times in sample and prototype production and reliable repeatability in series production.
Which documents do you need for a quotation?
Ideally a technical drawing as PDF, DXF or STEP — alternatively a 3D model or sample — along with the quantity and your preferred delivery date. If anything is missing, we will get in touch; the feasibility check is free of charge.
Do you offer contract manufacturing with framework agreements?
Yes. We absorb capacity peaks or take over your milled parts production completely — on request with framework agreements and call-off orders for plannable series deliveries.
Do you also deliver outside Vienna and Lower Austria?
Yes, we supply industrial customers throughout Austria and the entire D-A-CH region — on schedule, directly to your plant or warehouse.
Which tolerances can you achieve?
We manufacture dimensionally accurate parts down to the µ range — exactly to the tolerance specifications on your drawing. Every milled part is inspected with modern measurement technology before shipment; inspection reports are available on request.
How quickly will I receive a quotation — and how reliable are the delivery dates?
Once we receive your drawing, we check feasibility and prepare a concrete quotation at short notice, including a delivery date. We keep the dates we commit to — even during capacity peaks, thanks to our manufacturing network.
